Pottery Classes

Whether you are a beginner or more experienced artist we have created a class where you can refine your skills and build functional and decorative pottery. Follow along with the class project or come with your own idea. Our supportive and creative environment encourages experimentation, learning and growth. All materials are supplies are included in the class fee. Ages 18+

An inviting space where kids can start their clay journey and cultivate new hand building skills. The six week pottery class is a great way for your child to explore the mess, joy and challenges of working with clay. All materials and supplies are included in the class fee. Ages 7 to 14.

Thursday Oct 9 (one night)

6 pm to 9 pm

No previous clay experience required! Use our sugar skull template to make and paint the plate, just come up with a color scheme of your own from our available colors. Our staff will fire your piece in the kiln, dip it in clear glaze, and fire it again. The plates will be ready for pick up before Halloween. 

Thursday Oct 16 

6 pm to 9 pm

No previous clay experienced required! We will show you step by step how to make a mug and decorate it with underglaze transfers. No detailed painting required. Our staff will fire your piece in the kiln, dip it in clear glaze, and fire it again. The mugs will be ready for pick up before Halloween.  

Thursday Oct 23 & 30
6 pm to 9 pm

No previous clay experience required! The clay pieces will be precut for you, but you will learn how to mold, shape and attach them under guided instruction to create an angel wall hanging. Come back the following week to paint the angel. Our staff will fire your piece in the kiln, dip it in clear glaze, and fire it again. The angel will be ready for pick up before Thanksgiving.

Thursday Nov 6, 13 & 20
6 pm to 9 pm

No previous clay experience required! The clay pieces will be precut for you, but you will learn how to will mold, shape and attach them under guided instruction to create a six piece nativity set. This will require three class periods to complete. On November 20th you will come back to glaze and paint the set. Our staff will dip your pieces in clear glaze, and fire them in the kiln. The Nativity will be ready for pick up in early December.

Thursday Dec 4 & 11
6 pm to 9 pm

No previous clay experience required! Make a cute little table top Christmas tree that is approximately 8" tall. We will cut small holes in the tree so that it can become a tea light centerpiece. This will require two class periods to complete. On November 11th you will come back to glaze and paint the tree. Our staff will dip your piece in clear glaze, and fire them in the kiln. The Christmas tree will be ready for pick up before Christmas.
